Mikko Hurme

Director, Talent Solutions

Mikko holds a PhD in Psychology and an MSc in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. His expertise lies in talent acquisition, psychometrics, personnel assessment, and people analytics, with a strong focus on applying scientific knowledge in a practical business context. He has worked with organizations across industries such as energy, finance, IT and software, and the public sector.

In addition to his work at MPS, Mikko has gained experience in an international, tech company operating in a fully distributed global environment, where he focused on data-driven talent practices at scale. Earlier in his career, he worked at the University of Turku as a researcher, lecturer, and education manager in cognitive neuroscience. Mikko is motivated by developing talent solutions that combine scientific rigor with practical relevance for leaders and organizations.
